Living a life filled with joy, hope, peace and contentment is reachable. Whatever your needs; if you are uncertain about a current relationship, if you are burdened by guilt, if you are sad, if you are anxious, if you are angry, if you are worried or if you feel unmotivated and hopeless; learning strategies to build resilience to live the life you want to live is possible. This is the work I love and I have the experience and expertise to help you.

I hold a master's of mental health and I am a certified clinical trauma professional - M.Sc., R.P. (CCTP) (Approved NIHB provider). An active member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP); I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Professional Development/ Therapeutic Modalities:
Extensive, intermediate CBT training - Adler Graduate Professional Institute and BECK Institute. Advanced training DBT, Brief Solutions Focused therapy (BSFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness techniques (incorporating elements of Polyvagal Theory and emotional freedom techniques). I am trained in EMDR through Trauma and Recovery - HAP (Humanitarian Assistance Programmes) and currently completing 10 hours of clicnical supervision in EMDR.

I am a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP). I am an approved NIHB provider (Non Insured Health Benefits programme).

My unique educational background also allows me to work very successfully with children, adolescents and families. Through my master's degree, I hold a specialization in child and adolescent mental health. I am certified in Think:Kids collaborative problem solving (CPS - Level II ) for explosive kids. CPS has been clinically shown to help kids and teens to regulate their emotions, think things through and problem solve; improving relationships with others, promoting self-esteem and enabling kids and teens to reach their full potential.
