Children & Teens

Through my graduate degree (M.Sc), I hold a specialization in child and adolescent mental health. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for children and teens through Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, Massachusetts Hospital and Pathways. I also employ play techniques and strategies to enhance the therapeutic process. My training has equipped me with the knowledge of how to use games and therapeutic activities that enhance children and teens optimal development and help them to self regulate, problem solve and feel positive, motivated and emotionally stable. My education in child and youth work enables me build resilience in the kids and teens I work with.
